The new faces of GCW

It has now been a little over a month since we re-opened the Green House, and so far things are going very well, considering the great transition we have been undergoing.  We thought you might like to know some of the names and faces that are behind the scenes at the Gainesville Catholic Worker right now.  There is a group of about a dozen of us who are trying to keep things going, with some of us assuming specific responsibilities, and some helping in a more general way.  Here’s a list of all the folks who have taken responsibility for various projects/needs at this time:

Coffee house: Mary Peer

Dorothy’s Cafe: Beth Hinrichs

Finances: David Cheny

Communications: Allison Blay

Publicity: Linda Gardner

Home Maintenance: Chris Jette

Home Chores and Volunteer Coordinator: Daniel Loya

Hospitality and Art-for-All: Kendera Omanga

Roundtable and meeting coordinator: Dave Chynoweth

Black Acres Microfarm (and other food gathering): Jade Allen and Lynn Chacko

For all those who have offered support and encouragement over the past month, we are very grateful.  We are into month two of this experiment, and we can still use all the help we can get, whether it is financial gifts, volunteering, or simply prayers and spiritual support.  We thank you all for believing in the Gainesville Catholic Worker.
